  • 1. Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?

       2. Do you have a high temperature?

3.Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?

  • If you have any of these symptoms, however mild, please stay at home and reschedule your appointment and we advise that you contact your GP or access the 111 COVID-19 information service for further help and advice.

  • On entry to the centre  please wear a face mask

  • We will take your temperature using an infra red non touch thermometer

We have completely refurbished the centre and installed a screen and hygiene stations in the reception area.

We have marked out areas to reinforce social distancing and increased signage and information on handwashing and sanitation techniques for the protection of you and our staff.

We have spaced our appointments to allow for deep cleaning of work areas and equipment between every client.

General cleaning within the centre has been increased with a weekly deep clean and frequent cleaning of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, including door handles etc.

Beverages will no longer be provided within the centre. Water will be available using disposable cups following a treatment session.

Staff will wear PPE as advised in the latest guidance from  which will be changed between each client. The following gives a brief outline of the main recommendations for our staff and you as clients or visitors.

PPE protects the user against health or safety risks at work. COVID-19 is needs to be managed through social distancing, regular hand washing and where indicated wearing of face masks and/or visors.

In our centre we are required to work in close proximity to our clients for an extended period of time. An extended period of time refers to the majority of the working day, irrespective of the number of clients served during the day.

Therefore, as advised we will be wearing clear visors that covers the face and provides a barrier between the wearer and the client from respiratory droplets caused by sneezing, coughing or speaking.

The visors we use are re-usable and will be cleaned and sanitised between each client

There is no requirement for the client to wear any additional protection such as a mask or face covering, when the practitioner is wearing a visor but social distancing and regular handwashing must still be followed as much as possible .

Using face masks All clients and visitors must wear a face mask on entry into the centre or when in the reception area.

If you do not have a face mask we can provide one for you. You must sanitise your hands before putting on your mask and after taking it off. Once in the treatment room with your therapist – you can remove your mask if you wish.
